Things are happening at Lathlain Park! Over the next few months, Zone 1, 2 and 3 will all be progressing with the Town Planning process kicking off soon.
Lathlain In-fun-mation Day is your chance to come down and say hello, get an update on the entire project and ask some questions about the next steps for each of the zones. There will be opportunities over the coming weeks for you to be involved in the Town Planning process for the redevelopment of Lathlain Park and give your feedback.

Parking will be in the carpark off Roberts Rd, with information stalls set up for your to ask questions and get some updated information, as well as meeting our project partners the West Coast Eagles, Perth Football Club and Wirrpanda Foundation. There will be free entertainment and activities for the kids including meeting the West Coast Eagles inflatable games, face painting, bouncy castle and more.

Prime Minister announces $10 million commitment to Lathlain Precinct Redevelopment Project

Prime Minister the Hon. Tony Abbott attended a special stakeholder’s breakfast at Lathlain Park in the Town of Victoria Park this morning to announce a commitment of $10 million in Federal Government funding to the Lathlain Precinct Redevelopment Project (LPRP).
Federal Member for Swan Steve Irons MP, West Coast Eagles Chairman Alan Cransberg and CEO Trevor Nisbett, Town of Victoria Park Mayor Cr Trevor Vaughan and CEO Anthony Vuleta were in attendance.
Mr Vuleta said that the funding announcement was a major milestone in the transformation of the Precinct.
“We would like to express our great appreciation to the Federal Government for its commitment to a wonderful project for our community,” he said.
“The new facilities that will be created in Lathlain will be a valuable community asset for many generations to come.
“In partnership with our community, the West Coast Eagles and the Wirrpanda Foundation, we look forward to continuing to progress the LPRP and realising the multiplicity of benefits that it will bring.
“We thank the Prime Minister for his support and for joining us on this historic occasion at Lathlain this morning.”
